Recent reports indicate that the Cayutorme Syndicate, a confederacy of mercenaries, has profited from the sale of stolen garrison supplies to criminal elements throughout the Empire. Meanwhile, the presence of thousands of Cayutorme Syndicate vessels has been confirmed in the Cayutorme system. The reason for the fleet’s presence is not known, but its size alone represents a violation of Imperial law.
The Cayutorme Syndicate has been issued with an official Imperial order, giving it one week to disband at least two thirds of its fleet. The organisation has also been commanded to give Imperial inspectors access to all garrison stockpiles and records.
